Due to the conference's reputation for excellence and our commitment to delivering high-value content, the selection process is highly competitive. Our program committee carefully evaluates each submission to create a balanced program that addresses the most pressing challenges and opportunities in cultural facility management. While we cannot accommodate all proposals, we strive to include diverse perspectives and innovative approaches that benefit our global community.

Call for Presentations

We are very excited to announce the call for 2025 conference proposals!  Proposals are due by the end of day on 18 February 2025.
  • Session content to be built around a 45-minute presentation that includes a 10-minute Q&A [35-minute talk + 10 minutes Q&A]
  • It is preferred that session proposals from corporate members include a museum colleague for a shared perspective
  • Session proposals are to be educational not a sales pitch for services or products
  • Anyone submitting a proposal must have the approval of all organizations involved in what will be presented
  • Session Format – programs can consist of a presentation by an individual, panel or a demonstration
  • “Out of the box” ideas are encouraged – please contact us at [email protected] if you have one!

Session Proposal Deadlines:

  • February 18, 2025 – Proposals are due
  • March 7, 2025 – Acceptance notifications sent out
  • April 11, 2025 – Headshots and Bios are due by all presenters
  • August 15, 2025 – Final presentations to be submitted to the IAMFA Conference Committee
